online prescription eye glasses
I’ve personally ordered a pair from Zenni and was satisfied. $23 for a pair of prescription aviator style sunglasses is a great deal.
I’ve heard good things about this site also: Optical 4 Less. Higher quality than Zenni, I think, but also more expensive.
Critical thing when ordering prescription eye glasses online is getting your pupil distance correct. Measure several times. Make sure you get it right. Can be tricky.
Costa Rica
The wife and I recently did a trip to Costa Rica. We went to Playa Hermosa in Guanacaste province which is in northwest Costa Rica. Overall the trip was very relaxing and a good trip.
We stayed at Condovac La Costa using RCI points (a gift). We stayed in a one bedroom villa with a kitchen (sink, fridge and two burner stove top). The villa was clean and adequate if not luxurious. The beach was a short walk from the villa. The beach itself wasn’t anything special, a black sand beach. The beaches in Destin, Florida are certainly better in comparison. The main issue we had with Condovac is the overpriced and mediocre on site restaurant. The lack of a decent restaurant is aggravated by the ruralness of Hermosa and the early sunset, 6:30pm. After sunset it is really DARK, which for us, precluded walking to any of the other 3 hotels at Hermosa beach.
If we were to go to Hermosa beach again we’d probably stay at Hotel el Velero. We ate at Hotel el Velero’s restaraunt a couple of times and it was very good and the hotel rooms looked really nice.
Another hotel on the beach we ate at and looked good is Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar.
If you’re looking for a slow, relaxed vacation, Playa Hermosa is a good place to go. We sat at the pool and read 4 of the 5 days we were there. That said, there’s really not much else to do at Hermosa so keep that in mind.
