Dixie Stampede
I had the dubious fortune of attending a performance of Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede in Pigeon Forge, TN this past weekend. It was corny. I don’t think it was worth the $45 ticket price. The meal was okay: a whole roasted chicken, a slice of pork loin, half a baked potato, creamy veggie soup and a biscuit. But here’s the kicker, they give you no utensils, no fork, no knife!
The pre-show band was pretty good though…
